2.15pm Huntingdon tips for Sunday’s Class 4 race. A small field going to post for this two mile chase, a first prize of over £7,000 on offer to the winner. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: SALTO CHISCO has his ideal conditions, with two miles on a sharp track suiting him well. He has less questions to answer compared with a few in here. Britanio Bello would have a chance if he were to be trusted to have improved his jumping from what looks a workable mark. Jackthejourneyman won this race last year, he has shown very little since but he still needs to be considered.

1 LORD BEN – On a long losing run but nearly sprung a 50/1 shock from out of the weights at Worcester in September. Handicapper has hit him hard for that given that he is approaching thirteen now, tough to think he can give the weight away all round sporting a first time visor.

2 SALTO CHISCO – Still relatively unexposed for his age, a sharp track on quick ground suits him perfectly. Just a pound higher than a Fakenham win last October, he has his ideal conditions once more so is clearly a main protagonist.

3 BRITANIO BELLO – Bits and pieces of form over hurdles, he is yet to show the same level over fences. Lightly raced and capable of better from this mark with another summer of growth on his back. One of the more likely ones.

4 HELIUM – Like Lord Ben he is nudging thirteen, unlike that rival, he has shown little in two starts this season. May do better now that he has had a couple of runs to blow away the cobwebs and is certainly well treated enough but he is a hard horse to trust.

5 ITS A STING – Spent more than a year and a half on the sick list before a solid third at Bangor last month. Big chance at the weights if able to build on that, but just thirty-two days later it brings the bounce factor into play.

6 JACKTHEJOURNEYMAN – Winner of this contest last season from a five pound higher mark. He had the benefit of a prep run in 2016, absent since July this time around. Needs to leave his recent form a long way behind if he is to repeat.

7 THE JUGOPOLIST – Both chase wins have come at this track, but over the three mile trip. Hard to consider from his current perch over this trip, others readily preferred.
