.50pm Taunton Tips & Betting Preview 30/11/2017

IN SUMMARY: The confident selection is Fergal O’Brien’s LOVELY JOB, who has been improving nicely over fences and can take another victory for his in-form yard. He found only a useful type too good when second at Aintree on his latest start and he’s entitled to come on for that. He’s on the same mark here and in a much easier race he can land the spoils under in form jockey Noel Fehily. Joe Farrell has been given a big chance by the handicapper and is considered for second place alongside Beau Du Brizais.

LOVELY JOB – Improving over fences for Fergal O’Brien winning two of his seven starts and finishing second on four occasions. He was well beaten by a useful type at Aintree when last seen and remains on the same mark here. Good chance here in an easier race and has to be respected.

JOE FARRELL – Two runs over fences thus far for this 135 rated hurdler who was second at Ffos Las earlier this month, well held in that position. He’s been given a huge chance by the handicapper though and he’s won two races on better ground in the past. Has to be considered.

CAPTAIN BUCK’S – Two time winner over timber for Paul Nicholls who was well beaten on seasonal debut at Newbury, albeit in a much better race. He has the scope to make a much better chaser off a mark that is lenient at his best. Shouldn’t be far away with is ideal conditions.

BEAU DU BRIZAIS – Fell on chasing debut but made right on that when second to an in form runner at Stratford earlier in the month, only beaten by one length. He is now up in grade and back up to a mark he’s struggled off over timber, so others are preferred.

CLENI WELLS – Record stands at 2/25 which is certainly nothing to write home about and he was well beaten at Exeter on his latest start. That was a competitive contest but he’s only a pound lower and he’s best left one chasing debut.
