Richard Rowe Horses Strong In Market – May 2016

There were some significant market moves overnight involving four horses, all trained by Richard Rowe. Adam Beschizza was the jockey booked for the first three at Hamilton with Pat Dobbs taking the ride on the last gambled horse at Kempton. Aside from the trainer they all shared a couple of key trends, time spent away from the track and, most importantly, the significant step up in distance for all four horses.

After the odds of all four tumbled massively throughout the day the first horse, Whip Up A Frenzy, ran a very creditable third behind a strong odds on fav after being backed in from 14/1 and touching as low as 7/2! Interestingly after the first horse placed the next two Hamilton runners have now been withdrawn. However, that hasn’t stopped the cash pouring in for the last at Kempton Secret Glance.

Whip Up A Frenzy – Off the track for over a month but lurked on a tumbling mark with the return to turf an obvious plus. He was interesting stepped up to over a mile for the first time – PLACED 3rd

Rail Dancer – By far the biggest mover of the 4 being backed in from 12/1 this morning to as low as 5/2 with some. The step up in trip and nice mark is enough to give this one a second look regardless of the money that has poured in – NON RUNNER

Fishergate – Tipped at 16/1 this morning he’s another on a good mark with the step up in trip an advantage. Won for the Fahey team last season and the market support looked like a telling factor – NON RUNNER

Secret Glance – Having only raced at the minimum trip and 6f throughout his career the step up to a mile wasn’t the obvious move. Impossible to ignore given his good course form and money still piling in for him
