Tips for Bellewstown Races

Situated in County Meath in Ireland, there is only racing at Bellewstown five days a year – it hosts both flat and jump racing on these days!

Course: The flat track is quite a sharp and undulating left-handed oval of 9 furlongs with the final couple of furlongs uphill.

Similar in nature, the jumps course is also sharp and has five hurdles per circuit but there are no races over fences. Because it sits on high ground, a fast surface is not unusual.

Draw Bias: Our Bellewstown tips over 5 furlong races will generally look for horses drawn high, because of the dogleg the higher numbers can run straight whereas the lower numbers end up covering more ground.

Feature Meetings: Just two meetings per year at the track, three days in July and two days in August which we have tips for.
