Another chance is given to ONE FLEW OVER, who keeps getting backed in his races and he could be helped by this longer trip.
One Flew Over
J: Rob Hornby
T: Noel Williams
Built on three poor efforts when finishing third at Kempton in April, while the gelding got to within a head of victory at Wolverhampton a month later. Latest effort was weak, but this is a bit easier. Unraced on good to firm.
Has run well in AW handicaps but something to prove on turf and over this long a trip.

T: Mick Channon
Five races have yielded little joy for the three-year-old, who arrives here off the back of a poor effort on good to firm at Lingfield a month ago. Handicapper has relented slightly since, while his trainer has hit a bit of form lately, though he needs to improve.
No great promise in 6.5f-7f turf affairs and only a little better for going handicapping.
J: Liam Keniry
T: David Simcock
Struggled in each of his three races last season, while much of the same can be said for the gelding this term. Was last seen finishing seventh of eight at Lingfield. Is now four-pounds lower, though he may need to the handicapper to relent further.
Beaten double-figure lengths in all five runs, handicapping the last twice (1m3f).
J: Martin Harley
T: Alan King
Couldn’t cope in maiden company last season, while the gelding didn’t exactly show any improvement when finishing fifth of seven at Doncaster when reappearing in July. However, this is a lesser race and he’s been lowered a further two pounds.
Handicap debut was more encouraging but still finished only fifth in a field of seven.
J: Rossa Ryan
T: Alexandra Dunn
A third-place finish at Kempton, which came back in April, remains the only highlight for this gelding, who has been running poorly of late. Connections will be hoping that the addition of first-time blinkers spark improvement.
Never won for David Elsworth, leaving that yard for 7,000gns after three quiet runs.
J: Luke Morris
T: William Knight
Appeared to have taken a slight step in the right direction when finishing sixth at Lingfield in June, though the filly was nowhere to be seen at that venue last time out. A first-time visor needs to spark plenty of improvement if she’s to get involved.
Looks a limited performer and almost certainly flattered by his best run.
J: Paddy Bradley
T: Pat Phelan
The step up to nine furlongs had a positive effect when the gelding finished third of eleven at Lingfield back in May, while he also ran well at Kempton last time out. Another step up in trip could unlock further improvement. Merits consideration.
Last time at Kempton he did well to finish just over 3l off the winner from a poor draw.
J: Tom Marquand
T: Michael Bell
It’s still very early days for the filly, though it’s fair to say that she is yet to create a positive impression. Ran poorly in each of three races last season, while she hasn’t exactly stepped forward this season. More needed.
Longer trip worth a go after making some late headway over 9.4f on the AW two weeks ago.
One Flew Over
J: Fran Berry
T: Ian Williams
Took a while to get going, though the gelding has started to perform of late. Finished a respectable sixth of eleven at Class 5 level in July, while he was a credible fourth at Epsom last time out. Could improve again for this step up in trip.
Keeps getting backed but proving costly to follow; this his first run beyond a mile.
Star Of Assisi
J: Gerald Mosse
T: John Ryan
Tailed off in each of her first three races, though the filly took a step in the right direction when running well when stepping up in trip at Chelmsford a week ago. Could go well if this extra distance sparks further improvement.
Huge improvement to make the frame on handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces.
