Easy Tiger is respected with a soft lead entirely possible but BULLINGDON should go close with his profile one of a progressive 3yo.
Salt Whistle Bay
J: Martin Harley
T: Rae Guest
One win and two places at this level, the colt arrives here off the back of a weak effort last time out, though this is an easier task, while he’s generally consistent. Needs to defy a career-high mark but ought to go well.
Progressive prior to the wheels completely coming off at Sandown.
J: Finley Marsh
T: Malcolm Saunders
Front-runner, who often goes well, especially in Class 3 company. Won from this mark at Lingfield in February, while his two efforts since reappearing this summer have been pleasing. If building on a solid third over a furlong less at Leicester last time out, then he won’t be far away.
Last two wins have come over 1m2f on the AW but no qualms about 1m on turf.
J: Tom Marquand
T: Richard Hannon
Unexposed runner, who has won two of his five races, one of which under this jockey. Won at Chelmsford back in May, while he continued to go well, despite a four-pound rise, when finishing third at Doncaster last time out. Can go close with a repeat.
Chelmsford winner and solid run in defeat at Doncaster latest; that form franked since.
J: Luke Morris
T: Ed Walker
One win from two runs over course and distance, the gelding does have some decent form to his name, though he’s both temperamental and unreliable, while he remains considerably above his last winning mark. Others appeal more.
Below his best the last twice and doesn't look on a good handicap mark.
J: Gerald Mosse
T: Michael Attwater
Came home in front on debut at Lingfield, though the gelding has been unable to win since. Remains early days for the three-year-old, while he’s been running in stronger races of late. Needs to do better but may just be able to at this level.
Not so good the last twice on turf/Polytrack and only down 4lb for those heavy defeats.
J: Louis Steward
T: Hugo Palmer
Came home in front on his only previous visit to this course, though the colt has struggled to move forward since. Failed to get competitive at Class 4 level last time out, so the addition of cheekpieces will have to have a seriously positive effect is he’s to win this.
C&D winner not progressing and looks risky in another change of headgear.
