Saturday

Goodbye Dancer 5.00pm Cartmel

“Now a five-year-old he ran a really good race last time out at Aintree when runner up to Alzammaar and five lengths clear of the third, and I am hopeful he can go one better this afternoon, even though this is a step up in class and there are plenty of decent sorts in opposition.”

Templehills 7.05pm Ffos Las

“A nice horse and I like him a lot – he may well have a lot better chance than his odds suggest and he has certainly schooled well enough at home ahead of his hurdling debut, one for the future but not without a chance today.”

West Torr 7.35pm Ffos Las

“Runner up to Golden Birthday last time out in a Wincanton bumper, he was running on that day hence the move up and two and a half miles today for his hurdling debut. He has schooled impressively at home and I am pretty hopeful of a winner with the son of Scorpion this afternoon.”

Sunday

Sword Of The Lord 4.50pm Uttoxeter

“Has had an interesting time of things lately that includes two runs on the ice at St Moritz, finishing second in one of them, but he returns to hurdles here having been dropped five pounds since his last run over obstacles. Ryan Hatch will be having his first ride since breaking his wrist, so best of luck to him today, hopefully he can return to action with a winner!”
