8.50pm Crayford Race Preview 09/12/2017

Runners are coming thick and fast for the myracing,com greyhound syndicate. A Saturday night trip to Crayford sees Droopys Dazzle in action once again, looking to continue to work her way back to full fitness. Our greyhound tips will be live on site by 6.00pm tonight. Let’s break down Dazzle’s race for this evening runner by runner.

8.50pm Crayford 09/12/2017 A6 Grade

Cashen Voyager – Pup has only seen limited action, winning an A7 last month. Yet to break 24.10 so he is going to have to tap into the progression he should contain if he wants to be winning this, though did at least trap better last time.

Skeard Maggie – Mid grader in Ireland, she has taken to the track well in trials. She has shown a solid turn of early and although she is yet to duck under 24.10, she may get the run of the race on the inside which will be a huge plus for her.

Miss September – Eighteen month old baby, she won all three of her trials grading in at A5 level. She has found things much more difficult in race company so far, her trapping not allowing her to avoid early trouble. Will climb the grades in time but will need luck here.

Droopys Dazzle – A month past the ‘magic’ sixteen weeks out of season, she is still struggling to find her form. A 23.60 and 23.68 winner earlier in the year, she would eat these for breakfast if coming back to that form but at present, she’s hard to back with maximum confidence.

Zenas Nepotism – One place ahead of Dazzle last week, she has done the majority of her racing over much further. Sent off 8/1 there, she looks an unlikely winner, best watched until she steps back up in trip once more.

Pure Peaceful – Bundles of early pace as all her smart litter do, she won in this grade back in August. She’s fifteen weeks out of season and still relatively unexposed so she has the look of the one to beat in this field.

Conclusion

Dazzle would have picked this lot up and carried them back in June/July, but her form since coming back from seasonal rest has been a good five lengths short of her best. She still has the ability to bounce back but until she does, she is only for the brave from a punting point of view. The 6 has by far the best sectionals of these, she looks nailed on to lead these to the turn and fifteen weeks out of season, she is going to take a big of catching. Both 1 and 3 are young pups and capable of improving at any time, they are worth keeping an eye on.
