How We Did It

Donation, our 13/8 NAP, got the Acca off to flyer by chasing down the 16/1 outsider of the field, Barricade Tiger, down in the final strides – Leg one in! The NB Calico Ranger, tipped at Evens, followed in the NAP with an almighty tussle up the home straight with his nearest market rival, but emerged on top. Droopys Gold was a bit more of a comfortable winner by margin, but still had to work hard for the victory despite going off the 1/2 favourite after we tipped it at 4/7. Finally it was the turn of 4/9 shot Karlow Turbo to bring the fourth and final leg of the Acca home. He gave himself a lot do and made us sweat in what was a very tight photo finish, but crucially he was in front where it counts. BOOOOOM!
