7 Daily NAP Winners In A Row!

We’ve been in seventh heaven with our best bet of the day! After ending June with a 7/1 NAP winner we’ve started July in sensational form with 8 winners already including 7 from the last 7 selections!

NAP 1 – JONAH JONES – 5th July (2/1) – Tom Dascombe’s runner was really well backed on the day and ended up going off an odds on chance. Jonah Jones chased the leaders early after going right at the start before being asked for his effort at the 2f marker. Clearly having learned a lot from his debut Richard Kingcote got him to the front well over 1f out and drove him clear nearing the line to overturn the form with Hesslewood from York.

NAP 2 – HONEY MAN – 6th July (6/4) – Honey Man had caught the eye with three placed efforts in his first three starts and the booking of Silvestre de Sousa another positive having got a good tune out of him at Nottingham last time. This looked an ideal opportunity to open his account and punters certainly agreed, another backed into odds on territory. SDS has him settled early on as he chased the leader before delivering his effort just over 1f out and going on to lead inside final furlong. He did edge slight left but was in command before being eased to a very cosy 3 length victory.

NAP 3 – THE TRADER – 7th July (5/2) – Despite finishing 4th of 4 on debut, The Trader promisingly in a race which didn’t go to plan when short of room. We liked his chances of improving past the field today and in typical Mark Johnston fashion he did just that. Leading from the front it was clear that his pilot didn’t want to encounter the same problems as on debut and despite being pressed briefly inside the final furlong he stayed on well to draw clear final under a brilliant ride by Andrew Mullen.

NAP 4 – VALLAMBROSA – 8th July (13/8) – Without doubt one of the closest shaves in our NAP run, Joseph O’Brien’s horse certainly made us sweat! Having made all the filly was strongly pressed just after the halfway point. She looked to have reasserted by the furlong pole but was again taken on for the lead by his father Aidan’s Coral Beach. The pair kicked on from the field inside final furlong but Vallambrosa just held on to give us our fourth NAP winner on the spin!

NAP 5 – GLORIOUS LOVER – 9th July (6/4) – Gerald Mosse has a decent record when teaming up with Ed Walker and he looked to be the pick of a fairly average bunch on these terms. The Frenchman had his mount sat just off the pace before asking for an effort just over 2f out. The colt responded and soon led by the 1f marker before being pushed out to stay well on top in the closing stages.

NAP 6 – TOBRUK – 10th July (5/2) – A nice looking filly for John Gosden and Cheveley Park Stud who showed a lot of promise in her previous start when third to a couple of smart sorts at Newbury. She looked to have been found a good opportunity in what looked like lesser company and despite breaking left she soon got into stride, pressing the leader and getting to the lead 2f out. Rab Havlin did need to keep her up to her work inside the final furlong and she ran out a nice enough winner – we’re on fire!

NAP 7 – FIRELIGHT – 11th July (2/1) – Fourth behind a pair of subsequent winners on debut at Sandown. Having learned a great deal for the run and being stepped up to 6f we felt she rated a nice bet in this race with talented young Irishman Oisin Murphy up. The filly sat behind leaders early before being shaken up 2f out. Hard ridden approaching the furlong marker Firelight looked to have the race wrapped up before being strongly pressed by one flying nearing the line but our girl held on by a nose! NAP number 7 landed!
