7.06pm Crayford Race Preview 01/12/2017

After a phenomenal win from Jose on Tuesday afternoon, there is a real buzz around the syndicate this week especially with Droopys Dazzle back in action on Friday night live in the betting shops. Our greyhound tips will be live on the site tonight before 6.00pm, before that let’s break down the test that faces Dazzle tonight.

7.06pm Crayford 01/12/2017 A6 Grade

Treatmethesame – Two grades lower than when last seen on the 8th September, she was a solid 23.80 bitch with a clear run in the summer. She lacks instant early but moves well once she gets rolling. Veteran could be dangerous at this level.

Tuftys Mate – Another who has plied his trade further up the ladder, as high as A2 in March. Has broken 24 seconds just once in his last 10 starts so although he has slipped another rung on the grading, he needs more.

Lowlands Lily – Regularly commands the lion share of the market, sent off favourite 9 times in her last 14 starts. Not a regular winner but has the odd smash break in her locker, capable of getting involved if trapping out.

Droopys Dazzle – Has struggled a little since coming into season at the end of July, given a couple of weeks rest and another couple of trials recently. Her latest was a step in the right direction, but still a long way short of her best.

Whats Susan Upto – 23.92-23.99 in 5 of her last 6 races, she is remarkably consistent. 0/8 in this grade, but with 4 runner-up efforts she continues to knock on the door. This is a deep race for the grade so she is going to need to produce a little more.

Zenas Nepotism – Drops to this trip for the first time having plied her trade over 8 bends as soon as grading in and 6 more recently. Winner of an S4 when last seen in July, she is fully entitled to need the run to blow away the cobwebs.

Conclusion

A strong race for the grade with a number of these formerly much higher up the grades. Dazzle herself was sent off favourite 2 grades higher before she came into season but has not looked the same force since. More than capable if she puts her best foot forward, though it’s hard to know at present exactly what she is capable of. 3 could lead the inside up and looks sure to be well supported as she so often is. 5 doesn’t know how to run a bad race but perhaps the 1 is the biggest danger, a rock solid veteran performer who knows where the winning line is.
