ASTHURIA is a really likeable mare with an easy way of going. She’s a great jumper of a fence for one with so little experience and can put these to the sword with a strong display of front running. Dinaria Des Obeaux chased her home when they were second and third in the Opera Hat, she is closely matched with Youcantcallherthat who is five pounds worse off with her on their run last time but she has done nothing but improve over fences.

Rather had the run of the race when beating Dinaria Des Obeaux last time, better jumps down the straight allowing her to hold on. Five pounds worse off now, the drop back in trip will be fine and is by far the better jumper of the pair.

Easy winner of a pair of minor contests in the autumn, her jumping has held her back in better company since. Connections fit her with first time cheekpieces in a bid to reverse form with a couple of these the last twice. Trip and ground suit, should be bang there at the weights, but needs more fluency.

Adaptable type over two and two and a half as well as on all ground surfaces. She jumped far better than Dinaria Des Obeaux when beating her in the Opera Hat, a pound better off now. May not get things all her own way on the front end, but will take all the beating if she does.

Nearly fifteen months since she got her head in front, she has been handed some stiff tasks this season. Her best form has all come on decent ground so she will appreciate any further drying of conditions. Shouldn't be good enough to trouble the principals.

Struggled behind the top pair on the card on more than one occasion this season, comfortably beaten each time. Very hard to see why she would be capable of getting closer to them now.

Chased home Youcantcallherthat twice in recent starts, no good reason to think that she can turn that around here. Poor run when trying three miles last time, she could do with having her sights lowered.
