How We Landed Our Twitter Acca

  • Duke Cosimo, tipped at 2/1 to place in the 7.45pm was the first in our Acca, we were made sweat by the Pivotal Gelding. He made his challenge on the far side of the track and just got up by the smallest of margins to better his stablemate for third.
  • War Decree, a preview tip who was absolutely friendless in the market all day but if he could rediscover his form from last year he’d be far too good and he was just that! He coasted into contention after De Coronado set the speed and won hard held barely asked a question by Donnacha O’Brien.
  • Ben Rumson, another we needed to place, the last leg of our acca, the sweat was on. Colin Keane angled out on the McCourt trained horse with 2 furlongs to go and absolutely rocket past the opponents. BOOOOOOOOOOM that was the Acca landed AND the first leg of our Each Way Double.

How We Landed Our Each Way Double

  • Ben Rumson, who already had us reaching for the BOOOMS and beers, landed the first leg, blasting the opponents, the dream was on…..
  • Canford Bay, given a peach of a ride by Clifford Lee, he spied his gap 2 furlongs out and knew he’d have to take it, that quick thinking allowed him to steal a march by getting first run and in doing so sound our Followers and MRT HQ into a Delirious Frenzy! GET IN THERE!
