EOLENE JOLIE has joined powerful connections, a yard that do very well with their French purchases. She is very interesting thrown into the deep end against some stablemates who have already shown solid form. Saldier was thrown straight into the Triumph on just his second start for this yard. He would’ve finished closer if he had jumped a little neater there, this shouldn’t be run at quite such a frenetic pace so he should be seen in a better light. Saglawy is interesting on his flat efforts at Listed and Group 3 level, he should be in the mix.

Enjoyed a smart first season of hurdling, already a four time winner. A bitter disappointment in the Fred Winter, especially given he thrashed the winner of that over this course and distance in January. The return here should see him in a better light but gives weight all round.

Debatable how much he achieved when landing short odds in a Wexford maiden. The second and fourth are only rated 119 and 107 respectively so although it was an easy victory, the bare form is relatively weak. Shapes like he needs further so others should have too much toe.

Solid on the flat, rated as high as 100 in his pomp. Picked up a minor event on his second attempt at this discipline, showing a nice turn of foot. The drop down in trip is no issue given his flat form but the ground looks plenty soft for him.

Well beaten on his hurdling debut, showing the benefit of that initial experience last time. That bare form needs improving on, but heavy ground is no concern for him, with his flat efforts at Listed and Group 3 level last spring very interesting.

Impressive at Gowran on his debut, he was pitched straight into the Triumph on only his second start. Struggled with his jumping at Grade 1 level but was still close enough turning for home. That reads well down a rung, with this easier track suiting. Looks a big player.

Sprung a 33/1 shock in the Fred Winter, winning that comfortably despite proving wayward on the run-in. Beaten a long way by Getabird earlier this month, that is easy enough to forgive, but this isn't much easier than that contest.

A winner in France on her sole start in October, she has joined powerful connections. The form of that race hasn’t looked strong since, but the French bloodstock agents for this yard have proved their worth time and time again. Very interesting contender.
