3 Outsiders Who Could Make You Rich This Weekend

Newbury Racecourse

We’ve finally reached the weekend once again, with no less than eight race meetings to sink our teeth into on a bumper Saturday. The feature race of the day comes from Newbury, which hosts the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes over the specialist seven-furlong distance. Already well backed, Gustav Klimt will be looking to avenge Ballydoyles poor record in the U.K. this campaign. You can find all our thoughts on the day’s biggest races in our ITV Racing Tips section, with seven contests on ITV4. We’ve gone through the eight Saturday cards and found three horses at double-figure odds that we think can out-run their prices, take a look now!

2.05pm Ripon – Royal Brave (Best Priced 20/1)

From our ITV Racing TipsRoyal Brave has fallen back onto his last winning mark despite running some great races since that latest victory. A step up in distance holds no fears and Danny Tudhope holds a very good record on the horse. A strongly run contest will suit his hold up style and with conditions ideal, a big run is anticipated.

6.30pm Market Rasen – Rough Justice (Best Priced 25/1)

Winner of this race twelve months ago off two pounds lower, Rough Justice hasn’t set the world alight since, but he was returning from a long absence when pulled up over hurdles last time. He should strip much fitter for that and he looks as though he’s been aimed with this race in mind. Finian O’Toole claims a valuable three pounds and he looks to have been overlooked by the market.

8.00pm Market Rasen – Nicely Indeed (Best Priced 16/1)

The fact we haven’t seen Nicely Indeed for 177 days is likely a positive rather than a negative, as Philip Kirby’s eight-year-old has plenty of fair efforts when fresh. He’s well-treated on form from last year, including when placing off twelve pounds higher at Ayr in October. Conditions are fine and if settling better, he should sweep past in the closing stages.
