IN SUMMARY: It’s hard to look past the potentially exciting SYMBOLIZATION, who only found a smart type too good on debut but quickly made amends with a devastating win at Kempton back in September. He’s been allowed to rest since and he is bred to do far better this season for connections who are flying at present, so he’s touted to make a winning return.

Purser silk
J: Frankie Dettori T: John Gosden
Highest rated of the bunch, last seen finishing fourth at Newcastle in a Listed contest. That wasn't a bad effort and he does arrive here fitter than most, but he's starting to look exposed and faces some useful prospects. He has claims but does look vulnerable to improvers.
Accessor silk
J: Ryan Moore T: Richard Hannon
Improved on a modest debut when winning at Leicester in October, getting up late on despite pulling very hard early on. This is obviously much tougher and he must settle better to have any chance, with his pedigree suggests longer trips will bring out the best in him. Others preferred today.

J: Gerald Mosse T: Ed Dunlop
300,000gns purchase who made it second time lucky when scoring at Wolverhampton in a Novice race in July. That wasn't the strongest of contests and he makes his turf debut with any sort of 'soft' in the ground a big negative. With the yard making a slow start, others are preferred.
Stormbringer silk
J: Martin Harley T: Kevin Ryan
Steady improver for an in form yard, posting a career best when seventh in the Group 2 Gimcrack at York in August. That was a very good effort and he's entitled to build on that upped in distance, which should suit based on pedigree. He does obviously have to prove that here, but he's an interesting contender.
Symbolization silk
J: William Buick T: Charlie Appleby
Made a very promising start as a two year old last summer, second to the useful Vintager on debut before an easy win at Kempton in September. He should have plenty more to offer and he looks a smart prospect for red-hot connections. Should be tough to beat here.
