IN SUMMARY: The one who catches the eye is CRAWFORDS MILL, who makes her chasing debut after some fair runs over timber. She was always going to do better over the larger obstacles owing to some good point form and with her mark very low on chasing debut, she should prove tough to beat.

J: Finian O'Toole T: Micky Hammond
Seven year old who has won three of his last four runs over timber, making his chasing debut today. He wasn't beaten far at Hexham in August, but the main concern would be this drop in distance. He'll need a strong pace to aim at and today's ground is far from ideal.

J: Patrick Cowley T: Laura Morgan
Only found one too strong when aiming for a hat-trick at Carlisle earlier this month, beaten only a length. The front-pair were miles clear of the rest and he remains on the same mark here. A step up in distance holds no fears and with conditions ideal, he shouldn't be far away.
Imperial Prince silk

J: Derek Fox T: Ian Duncan
Had some useful hurdling form back in 2016 but he's shown nothing in four starts since returning this season. He was tailed off at Musselburgh when last seen and he never left the rear. On that evidence, he looks booked for another struggle.
Romulus Du Donjon silk

J: Lorcan Murtagh T: Rose Dobbin
Has been steadily improving over fences, beaten a short-head at over course and distance on his latest start. He was wide throughout that day so that effort can be marked up and he'll love today's conditions. He retains the surfaces of a good five pound claimer and he's unlikely to be far away.
Crawfords Mill silk
Crawfords Mill
J: Brian Hughes T: Stuart Crawford, Ireland
Irish challenger who is a five race maiden under rules, holding excuses for her latest start at this venue over timber. She posted some good point efforts back in 2017 so she should do far better in this sphere, dropping to a very attractive handicap mark. She'll relish conditions and can land the spoils on her chasing debut.
