It’s very hard to look past the chances of COEUR BLIMEY, who despite jumping poorly throughout stormed up the hill to finish fourth at Cheltenham on his reappearance. That race looks to be a very decent novices’ handicap and off the same mark, he should be very tough to beat. Capeland has nothing in hand off this mark and can run his race without managing to take victory, with Global Thrill perhaps the biggest danger.

The Gipper (IRE) | J: Mitchell Bastyan T: Evan Williams
Has fallen to a very dangerous mark thanks to some very poor performances of late, well held at Exeter over hurdles last time. He has his ground and remains with potential, but a leap of faith is required and others are preferred.

Ivor's Queen (IRE) | J: James Bowen T: Colin Tizzard
Won two starts ago over course and distance by ten lengths, not disgraced on her latest start when fourth at Fontwell. She's now three pounds higher and that makes this a very tough task off a career high mark. Could be more to come from her but today's ground is the final nail in the coffin of her chances.

Capeland (FR) | J: Bryony Frost T: Paul Nicholls
Second two starts ago at Stratford before a fourth at Sandown last time, confirming that he has very little off today's mark. Bryony Frost takes off five pounds and he's tongue-tied, but he should find at least one of these too good.

Coeur Blimey (IRE) | J: Lucy Gardner T: Susan Gardner
Last seen at Cheltenham when storming home in a very useful novices' hurdle, making too many mistakes. His mark remains unaltered and if keeping the mistakes to a minimum he's the clear pick with Lucy Gardner claiming three pounds.

Global Thrill | J: Richard Johnson T: Bernard Llewellyn
Gained his third win in four starts with a narrow victory at Kempton last time in a Conditional Jockeys' Handicap. As a result he's on the same mark here in a similar race, so has to be considered a strong each way contender, as softer ground is no problem.
