1.10pm Bangor Tips & Betting Preview 15/11/2017

1.10pm Bangor tips for Wednesday’s Listed race. Five very useful mares go to post for this Listed contest over fences, with not much to separate a few of these on the ratings. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: The obvious pace angle here is Rene’s Girl, who will try and make all on the back of an impressive chasing debut at Worcester where she had Dusky Legend eleven lengths behind. That battle should be closer now the latter has race fitness, but it’s hard to get away from LADY BUTTONS, who knuckled down gamely when only finding a classy rival too good on seasonal debut at Wetherby earlier this month. She will make a much better chaser and can resume her progressive ways to take a seventh career victory for Philip Kirby.

1 DUSKY LEGEND – Deadly consistent seven year old who has found one too good at this level on all her previous attempts. She finished eleven lengths behind Rene’s Girl on chasing debut but she is entitled to come on for her seasonal debut and should be much closer this time around. Soft ground is no concern either, which is another positive.

2 LADY BUTTONS – Highly progressive earlier this year for Philip Kirby who was far from disgraced to finish second in a Listed race at Wetherby earlier this month. She is the type to make a better chaser and with far more likely to come from her, she shouldn’t be beaten here.

3 MARIAH’S LEGEND – Won on hurdling debut for Amy Murphy but didn’t improve from that, with her best effort coming when fourth in a Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle. That wasn’t a bad race but this is much tougher and with no idea what to expect from her over fences, others are preferred.

4 RENE’S GIRL – Made the best possible chasing debut for Dan Skelton with a comfortable victory at Worcester, making all ahead of Dusky Legend. That rival has fitness on her side but she jumped and travelled so well that it’s hard to see a reversal here. She looks a smart chaser in the making and shouldn’t be far away.

5 THE NIPPER – Completed a hat-trick last season in small field races for Warren Greatrex and she didn’t run badly on chasing debut, finding only a Skelton hot-pot too good on the day. Further is needed in a much tougher race but that couldn’t be discounted and she’s considered. She does need to settle much better, though.
